Floating Post Office

We do have a floating post office in Srinagar. It also has a philately museum and a shop that sells postage stamps. The letters posted from here carry pictures of Dal Lake and Srinagar city to promote Kashmir as a tourist destination. The floating post office was inaugurated by Sachin Pilot and Omar Abdullah in August 2011.
